Once again...thats just opinion...I think it's an SQL sub...some may even think it's an SPL sub...

OK guys....now u just have to understand where im comming from...im an audio beginner, ok???...by what i see in all of these fourms, JL is by far hated on the most...ok no biggy....and ive never heard a XXX or Brahma sub before, but them are the sub everyone usually say is better...so what i want to kno is if there were 2 XXX or 2 Brahma subs with one amp, would it be louder than my 2 12w7s??? if u havent seen my pics there in the Gallery (look)... when mine were tested they hit 156.43 db with an Audio Control Comp Mic (spl)....

you all tell me some good info now...i want to understand how good theres sub really are if they are better

How much wattage are you giving them? I hate to tell you, but a 156 on an Audiocontrol mic is nothing....
I know a Brahma can reach full potential somewhere around 6 or 800 watts...

ok well to tell u the truth i hit 156.43 windows up and 157.16 down...so take it from there

all i have is a JL 1000/1 (im gettin another)

well see ive learned something about mics...cool...

I'm not sure why everyone pisses on JL...JL has done worlds for this sport, more than most of you can imagine. If you don't like them, oh well, you don't have to. The W7 is an amazing sub. Some complain b/c of the price...its a JL...get over it. You have to pay for the research that has went into these subs. JL makes great subs...anyone wanna debate on that?

Secondly: The Brahma is anything you wanna make it

Ummm sealed? What mic? Audiocontrol...not that good a mic...but good score...

no its ported...(look at my pics the black s10)...and it was an Audio Control Comp. Mic (spl)
