Most definitely KICKER. I had my KX600.1 running 2 8L7's at 1 ohm for nearly 3 months, without any problems. Earlier today, Santa in the brown truck brought me a KX1200.1 to replace my KX600.1. Nothing wrong with the KX600.1, just need more power.

(if you still got em).
nice setup //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/peace.gif.2db28b618ed8d1964ebbe2f5021d2c39.gif LOve solo 8's//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rotflol.gif.b453361716769b8110ddefc85ff03cd2.gif
They are 2004 8L7's, and they're not forsale. I have a Crew-Cab GMC truck, and there is very little room for a sub box (and I'm not removing the back seat). I've managed to squeeze out 1.6 cu ft with a box under my rear seat.

My goal is to break 140 dB with the 2 8L7's, the KX1200.1, and a few box modifications.
well I like both and have run both
you must live in a cave.......I like the kicker solobaric L7 subs but thats what their known for, their subs, not their amps. Go with fosgate.
//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gifId go with rockford. Rockford has " tru rms power" I dont use the new amps though i have the black rockford 700s which is working good. I like the kicker solobaric L7 subs but thats what their known for, their subs, not their amps. Go with fosgate.
If it was your opinion you should use the words' " I think" or "IMO" , you generalized that Kicker is known (to everybody) for their subs, not their amps-thats how you phrased it.....Just my opinion homie take it or leave it
went WAY down the shitter.Since the beginning- Stillwater days to present,Kicker has not fallen off the wagon as far as delivering quality powerful amps- BTW which they are VERY well known for, along with their subs- I dont recall a moment when they're quality went down, but RF on the other hand......
don't see how you can say that, I actually know the return rate, and hate to break it to you...the KX amps are some of the most reliable ones we have done...and the technology that the SX has, hard to find one in that price range that can compete with it's flexability. The ZR amps were awesome in their day, but I was here when the SI, then SS were designed and developed, and have seen them progress, not really the other way around...went WAY down the shitter.
sorry had to finsih that for ya.
