Hi im running an Kicker L7 Qclass 12” sub with Fosgate p1000x1bd . I have done the Clean set up . My gain landed at just over half way mark. Amp doesn’t seem to kick super hard unless i turn up the Punch EQ on the top of the amp. The amp’s gain is set to the HU so there’s the power i have available and its not enough unless like i said it needs abouthalf way on punch dial any thoughts? Thanks.
After looking at amazon for kicker q product details, it showed rms of 1200@2ohm
If you’re at 2ohm you’re not feeding it enough power. At 1ohm that amp probably delivers 1400-+ at 2ohm check your spec sheet to see what your p1000 delivers.
