I have 2 R300X4 amps in my boat and the blue light on one of them no longer illuminates when the power is on. On power up, both amplifiers show a blue light, followed by red. Normally, the blue light then stays on. One amp displays a blue light, the other doesn't. However, both appear to work - all the speakers are working.

I can't find anything in the manual about this. I understand that a red light indicates some sort of short, but is the lack of a blue light also indicative of a fault?

Thanks

I would pull it and bench test it with a 12v battery. Ive had Bulbs burn out in the past and the amplifier works excellent. They will burn out at times. Electronics dont last forever, but it is also how they are protected and stored as well from the elements.Out of the sun, heat, winter, rain, and moisture, ect. Pull it and throw it on a work bench and test it on a good 12v battery. Is the amp under warranty????????? If so, you can send it back and they can repair it or give you a replacement
