RMS vs Watts?

I'm in need of help. Sub has a RMS rating of 800W and a Max of 1600W 2OHM. Amp has a rating of 900W at 2 ohm and 1200W at 1 ohm. Should i run the sub on a 1 ohm load feeding it 1200W or should i just run the sub on a 2 ohm load feading it 900w?

You are confused. The sub dictates the impedance (ohms). You said the sub is 2ohm, Im gonna guess that means its a single voice coil (SVC). In this case, you can run at 2ohms and 2ohms only. If your sub is a dual voice coil (DVC), each coil being 2ohms, you can run at 1ohm or 4ohm, only.
