ripped sub

My friend's 10w6v2 ripped and im just wondering whats the best way to fix this.

This isnt his sub, but basically this is what happened

He wants to know if this would work?

Yes, that kit would work. I've used one much like it that I got from PartsExpress and it worked wonders.

could be from over excursion, better the surround than the voice coil

take the old surround off, clean the cone and the basket very well, and glue the new surround down.

got the same problem with a L-715 where can i get one of those kits for it

yeah, simple super glue will fix it. I did it to a w1 and it is still hitting like it used to
