system in a 2000 Tacoma ext cab

Hello everyone i am looking at putting one 10" sub in the back of my truck in between the two back seats. I want it to look like this

I am not looking for crazy bass but still want it to bump when I listen to linkin Park, hip hop, and sometimes trance.. stuff like that.

I am thinking of getting one 10" Punch Stage-2 4-Ohm Subwoofer and a KENWOOD KAC-8104D amplifier. I am just wondering everyone's thoughts of this setup because I have been out of the loop for a long time and just want to make sure its a good choice. I am also wondering what you suggest having it forward facing or building it downward facing (which is what I was thinking about doing so I could hide the sub and make it look clean.
