I do agree with you the w7 is not a sq sub and i would agree the w6 spanks it in this category, however i think at least my w7 sounds 10x better than the rd or Fi's i heard and they were not that much louder if they were

SJA is RD's build house. The fact that they use a different backplate/spider design is irrelevant

Atomic is SJA's house brand.

If you look at packaging, old back plates, construction, parts used you will see the similarities.

Fact is that RD uses SJA as a build house is kinda irrelevant. Everyone has to get there subs built somewhere, so why not there? even if it were a rebadged atomic sub ( which it isn't, although the same guy who glues together atomic subs probably glued together the RD sub ) I would much rather deal with the pushy sales tactics of RD than the blatant lies that George Woo ( Owner of SJA ) and his wife spit out every chance they get //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Pardon me for being a dumb arse old fart . But why would someone considering MT's and BTL's be concerned with the sound quality of an spl sub ? Ok...turns out you were correct on their amps...zenon did build the boards for sundown...Sundown gets their amps from the same build house RD gets theirs from, 1 of their amps happen to share the same board, but it was never stolen because Sundown never came up with the design in the first place, it was just a board design that zenon came up with...i'm not afraid to admit when im wrong
But Atomic does NOT build the RD drivers

wow Atomic builds all of RD's drivers, thats why im going to Atomic to photograph all of RD's subs for their website and catalog. :/
