What type of resin are people using to coat entire inside of box? Lowe's or Home Depot needs to have.

Polyester resin. If it's a small box and not a wall, yeah dumping it in and rotating the box would work good

I use bondo brand resin (walmart)or marine resin from Lowe's.

what is the purpose other than wasting time and $$$$.....

Caulk to seal the joints if your cuts are off......wax if you want a slippery surface. If you need strength then add bracing as resin does nothing to make a box stronger unless you use fiberglass mat and that won't be fun....

Resining the inside of the box seems like a lot of work for no real gain. I can add silicone caulk to the corners like dude mentioned above^. If your looking for smooth air flow, maybe a layer of paint to help make the internal surface be smoother. If your looking at adding strength, try extra bracing

it lowers the resonance, strengthens it and seales it. wood is pourious reguardless.. ive put up better numbers by just doing two coats of resin

corners and airflow are important. i gained by sealing the box and reducing resistance inside the bbo buy rouning the corners.

153 with 1 9515d and about 1.5k was a **** good score..

anyone tested it?

unless it is an all out spl big build not really worth the time or money. Same with 45s. You can gain or drop on the meter because of them.

the less resistance the more linear the pressure in a system. we can argue all day. one thing i do for a living is pneumatics.
