Required speaker wire

If you have not bought speaker wire yet, you could go with 12 gauge. Thats probably overkill however. 16 gauge is what I have running to them and that works just fine.

i have a 50' of 16awg that i found in my parents basement and i was planning to use it but i wanted to make sure i wouldnt be screwing something up but i guess ill use it now that u guys say its fine. Thanks 4 ur help n time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

If you have that much extra cable to spare, I would double or even triple wire it. Since it's a speaker (unfused) connection, it's possible that using multiple runs of the same gauge wire rather than a larger gauge could provide better conductivity. I wouldn't recommend it though if it's going to be difficult to conceal/run that much wire.
