Replace Pioneer head unit w Mosconi DSP 4T06

[Audiotom]

I use a three year old Pioneer Aviv 900 series (950 hr?) head unit with

4 channel JL audio

Sub Jl audio amp

JL audo 12 inch sub

JL front and rears

VW Tiguan

My sources are ipod classic primarily, cds, siruis, fm digital & analog

I feel the head unit and source are lacking

The weak link sonically

Thinking about hi rez

I am an audiophile

Tonality and resolution over volume

My local hi end shop suggests utilizing some tone control refinement, hi rez streaming dsp

They recomend the Mosconi Gladen 4t06

I have an Ipad mini I won in a drawing that they suggest I could use for a front end mounted in the dash and bypass the d/a converters

Use tidal and other online sources

And refine the car eq at same time

I dont want to give up touch screen music access

I also have a hi rez Cayin portable that might work

Any suggestions?
