Redoing System

Since I've almost sold all of my old equipment, I think its time to start thinking about a new one. I'm going to have close to $1000 to spend on my system but the cheaper the better. I want something thats going to be louder than my previous system which was a 12" RE SX and RE 12.1 amp, in a 2.5 cu. ft. box.

So $1000 to spend on sub(s) and sub amp. The box it isn't going in is going to have to be around 4.5 cu. ft. or smaller. It doesn't matter if it is a single or dual subwoofer system, as long as it fits into that budget. I prefer 12" woofers as well but I'll consider 15". With that all being said, lets here your suggestions. I've really been thinking about going with a sealed enclosure but who knows.

Let's hear them...

I'm leaning towards a couple things but I want to see what you guys come up with.

Yeah it was nice. Alot of people would want it but nobody really wants it. Hence why the sub is still forsale. haha

The 12.1 is already sold. I was thinking about running dual 12" Qs and powering it off a US Amps MD2. I really like the WOW factor of a single woofer getting super loud.

Would the BTL really only like the MD2. The MD2 I think does around 1600-1800 watts. Would that be enough to get the BTL movin'?

Or I could look into the Xerminator line of US Amps...

MD3D >> MD2D

I have had both and much prefer the MD3 over the MD2.

How much more money does the MD3 cost though? What kind of power does it throw out as well.
