so...there hasn't been many threads that actually "reviewed" massive audio so i thought i'd start one. They have several good thing going for them lol.

well first they are cheap for what you get.

their build quality is top notch from what i hear and see

the internals of amps look really sweet, check it out at ampguts

looks clean and solid lol

so what are your opinions of them?

I'm looking to get a p800.2 that makes 200 rms x4 at 4 ohms !! and a p1500

and they have a two year warrenty so i don't think you can go wrong there.

I have seen them at the local swap meet in indianapolis. Their subs sounded kinda muffled, but got loud.

yeah, i haven't heard much about their subs...looks beefy though...lol

but i have heard some great things about their amp. suppossedly up there with dd, sundown, ia and the rest of the crowd....

yeah i was looking at them too until i saw how freaking long it was lol...won't fit...

anyways just add another thing, their amps share designs and such with Branson audio (from netherlands i think), theloudest (british) and sinuslive (german) all which are pretty d@mn expensive and of great quality...just wanted to mention that

yeah, i saw that one....supposedly they are trying to screw him over.... but the first failure was, as he himself said, his fault... he wired it wrong i think...

anyways, before he got into this bit of mess.. he said that it was a really good amp and made a lot of power...

Just so this is straight... the P series Class-D amps from Massive audio are NOT up there with Sundown Audio. I have a set of P1500.1 equivalent amps directly from the factory that builds them sitting beside me right now, so yes, I have used them. Before anyone gets offended... the P series are good amps, but they are in no way, shape, or form up to the standards of my 1500D. I have the build cost sheets in front of me too, and you do get what you pay for.

I have talked with the factory that builds the Massive amps at length and they are certainly not a bad product and I think they compare favorably with other products in their class. BUT, I want to be very clear that they are most certainly NOT in the league of the SAZ-1500D as far as overall build goes.

I've used alot of there competition amps before. Never had a problem with em. I've seen their 4000 watt amp used at .5 ohm and still kick it hardcore.

I can't speak for the P-Series amps because I have never used them, but I can speak for the competition series. Very solid amps that are top notch in the quality department.

Do you want THD vs. power graphs prodided by the manufacturer of the amplifier showing that it doesn't come close to rated power at rated THD? In the interest of not putting down Massive and their product line I haven't yet posted this. But if you are accusing me of falsifying information about a competing product then I can put it up. I can break it down for you on the component level if you want as well... transistor specs on the P1500.1 vs. the SAZ-1500D as well as part counts on capacitors, etc.
