Recommend me some turbo cars...

Vtec and Turbo - dont know a whole lot about them, just never got into Hondas, although they're decent cars. Always wanted a 99-00 SI.

Anywho, all I've heard is how much trouble correctly setting up and tuning a turbo is with a vtec. So I assume it's not that fun, so I never went there.

I hope I get my Miata soon and start the build, if someone's close enough they can take a ride one day as long as they compensate for gas

You could always get a 89-92 Mustang 5.0 and do a turbo swap. Theres enough parts out there to make it outhandle anything on the road pretty much. You can do it for under 12k bucks and have a **** nice car.

this is going to sound crazy but, get a 93-98 linclion mark 8 { same as a 4 valve in a cobra} slap a turbo and ****!!!!! nice mid size luxury car that will ride!!!!

Im 20 and I have always treated my cars very well, and i have had alot of cool muscle cars, sports cars what have you, and i always treat them with respect, but the people that built my mustangs, and my Nissan 300zx and 350zs and LS1 cars, built them for one reason, to look cool and go like hell, i keep all my vehicles looking good, treat them well, main tain them on a regular basis, but when its time to race, ill race, and if i see a long flat stretch of road, im going to see what it can do, sports cars are built to go fast, why baby them, keep them looking nice, and keep everything up to date on them, and they will last, but get on them, thats why they were built, for fun, thats why i wanted something like a BMW 5 or 7 series, they have good amounts of power, and they have the luxury, a sports car is just built to be fast, even tho, i could fall asleep driving my nissans or mustangs, firehawk was a lil rigid, but built to go like hell!! Its like my 350z it had a built in stop watch?? And why would you need one of those, to clock how fast it takes to get a hair cut, no to see how fast the b*tch will go from 0-60 and 1/4 mile!!!!

I would recommend a SRT4 (neon) for a daily driver..I have a 04 and it's a stage 1 runs 13.5 at the track and can get 30+ mpg. It's easy to mod with tons of aftermarket parts and OEM stuff.

Cons: it's a fwd and that sucks for launches (traction bars and motor mounts help lots) and you'll always be driving a neon (no matter how much power it puts down //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif)

But, I love mine and will be keeping it for a long time.

heres what i like to do with a 300zx.rip the engine out and junk it!!!!!

and im a diehard nissan finatic, but i would never own a 300zx.

i used to like to drive all fast and shit but now i like to roll low and slow

WAAAAY cheaper to do a 5.0 turbo and getting a Mark 8 to cut corners wont be nearly as easy.

not even close to being stock

srt4 hands down. they're cheap to start with. easy/cheap to mod. and fast as hell. with the right parts you'll have one of the quickest/fastest cars on the road.
what's your buddy have done to his srt4? has he been to the dragstrip?

i might be biased, i have a srt4. if you or your buddy need info on this car let me know. i have one of the quickest/fastest in the country

Those cars scare me. They are quite quick, but a Cobalt is just not built to handle that speed. When you start cranking on it, the car just doesn't feel solid enough. Especially when you push them to 200km\h. It never comfortable to go that fast, but it's **** scary to do it in a cheap american compact.

If I had to drive a car, I would stick to the Talon, or 300zx.

Or scratch the turbo, and buy muscle. Way funner power. Go with a new dodge. Charger R/T, or a new Challenger. If you're on a budget, there are plenty of older V8's that would roast most little turbo cars, and you have infinite build ups from there.

yeah these new ones might feel more solid though. They redid all of the suspension and some other things.
