haha. A neon owner. How come a stock 99-00 si is faster than a SRT4 on the streets?
How come a Honda with $3k of engine mods is making the very 03-04 Cobras look slow??

And 08 cobalt SS? I can't tell if that's sarcasm.

Your only statement that I agree with is about the 1g mitsus. They can be made fast for CHEAP. But its a slightly older car, with poor handling.

I might be a Honda fan, but I love handling and love smashing on V8-V12. Thats probably what has made me so crazy. There's no better feeling than making somebody look like a fool, especially if they have 10x-15x as much money invested in their ride as I have. I can only imagine what they are telling their girlfriend after their 08 Rousch just lost to a 2000 honda civic 4cyl. Probably still hatin anyways. Quite addictive, i tell ya. I can't get enough of it.

my Buick Grand National is a fun Turbo Car to drive...easy 20+mpg taking it easy around town always...and it gets as much attention as my Saleen when ever I pull up somewhere in it....

The grand national was the fastest off the floor production us made car in its time...they were running 13's off the show room floor stock...in the mid 80's that was pretty sweet....for a V6 car....it was years ahead of its time especially the intercooled 87 running gear like mine has.....a few minor upgrades and you had a 12sec car....eventiually the rest of the world caught up with the potential of what a turbo could really do and soon followed off GM's designs...look at the Turbo 280zx's...they were flops...pretty much any tubo car I can think of before the 87 Grand National was a total flop.....except for maybe a 911 turbo.....thats where history was made the 87 Buick 3.8 intercooled turbo V6

If your a serious car guy and have a decent amount of mechanical knowledge I'd say DSM's are the way to go. But if not, stay away from them unless your going to just leave it stock. My .02
