Car problems, and im a newb, HELP!

battery lite was on last nite. no problems.

tonite i have my battery light on and when driving i suddenly notice that my headlights and interior lights are reeeeally low. the radio then cuts off, i hit my windsheald whipers (raining out) and they barrely move.

all in all whats the problem, the battery alt, starter. ill be checking the battery tomorrow and go from there was just wondering what road im heading down.

bat or alt for sure. go get a free check and go from there. either way, easy fix and consider it a necessary upgrade

A dead battery wouldn't do that, unless you have like a 20 amp alternator, which I doubt.

now what sux is i have no tools and im mechanically declined..lol so i hope i can get some friends to help me out.

Ohh and for joo all that are supportive and lol at me "newb" thanks for the input. i so hate when my pos car breaks down. i wished i knew a mechanic i have some work that needs to be done..lol

buy a haynes manual. best 20 bucks spent. you can pull your whole dam engine to pieces if u wanted and modify by readin one of those books.

i actually have one not sure the brand but i bought it for the heck of it i guess it was money well spent. im just hosed with no prior experience or tools the old lemme bum one off a friend will have to do..lol

i know im a gurlyb!tch but i hate fixing cars, just not interested in it..lol

Those alts are pretty easy to replace if I recall . Also , Id replace your battery while your at it .
