Recommend me some turbo cars...

After researching more into what I want in a car, I want boost in my next vehicle. I rode in my buddies SRT-4 last week and liked it. I'm not keen on the looks of the VW GTI's but I hear they're great cars hard to make a decision. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif Help me out. I basically want a quick DD that handles like it's on rails and I can still track it and do autocross for fun.

vw gti 1.8t

for the win.

just make sure the waterpump has a metal impeller on it, they are on the timing belt and if they are plastic (still) the tend to melt\break\warp\crack 50~100k miles and will destroy the engine if not taken care of asap.

Hmm TT Supra?
Not for the prices I've seen.

Mmm I just don't like the looks of them. How's the interior room?

Actually the new evo's look pretty sweet.

Honestly though for the money I'd go for an 05-06 gto 6.0. The 0-60 on them in around 4.5 (auto) and you don't see them all the time. They're a pretty sweet sleeper car for people who don't know too much about them

1990-1996 Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo, if you drove one and owned one you will never own another car unless you get a 350z like i did, owned both cars, and those TT 300zxs are just a bad *** car, when turbos spool your gone, and they stick to the road and corners like a rail car, there amazing cars and get good mileage and turn heads!! 300zx TT

They are very heavy for the power they boast......

Thats what I was just about to say.

I'm not a big car guy but I'd take one of those over just about anything.

i will own me another one of those or another 350z, i had a 1995 non turbo and a 1995 TT 300zx and a 2003 Touring 350z and i love those three cars more than ever, bought the non turbo 300zx when i was 16 and back then those cars were something you played with in grand turismo, i got laid all the time because that car!! LOL loved them all, 300zx are just a true sports car, that will exceed most peoples driving needs!

well..you said you wanted it to be a DD..do you have a clue about working on cars or are you able to just do maintence(oil changes, brake pads, etc). That splits turbo'd cars into two different categories lol..the new and the old..

i have my 94 Mitsu 3000gt Twin Turbo which is my DD..but reliability in this car is crazy, shits always happening. BUT, I must say it is my favorite car to drive. Drove home my buddies 93 300zx (upgraded turbos and supporting mods) since he couldnt even drive stick when he bought it! Also I recently went and checked out this guys evo that dynoed at 397 awhp. Now that thing is seriously like a go kart on steroids (the most dissapointing thing about it was the ride quality and just interior was so effing plain!)

So yeah, if you are able to fix crap when it goes wrong, go for a 300zx or Vr4, rx7, supra, etc.

But if you're just starting out and have the money, get something new!
