RE SE 12" Sub Rivals"

Hey guys, ive had my eye set on th RE SE 12" for quite a while now. I was wondering what other subs are there out there that can rival it. The sub has to be a 12" and handle around 600 watts for ~200 bux. Id like to look at subs that arent your normal in store brands. RE, Elemental, Adire, Orion, DD, Treo, whatever you dont see too much is what I wanna look at. Some kid at school has 2 12" xplods and he doesnt think ill be able to beat him with 1 12". The box ive got built is 2.0 Ft^3 tuned to 32 before driver displacement.

Im in the same boat as u , I was looking into the RE SE's or the ED-k. The RE Se's look more promising thou. My friend has a 15" XXX ported on a brutus 1500 and it slams

You might want to look at the Stryke Audio AV12 MkII. I haven't heard it myself unfortunately, but Grand Masta over at the Sounddomain forums seems to love them. I would recommend you ask him questions if you are interested. I think Stryke Audio has a few left, but won't be making any more for a couple of months due to the owner having a lot of problems recently. Acoustic Visions was (is?) also selling them also. An AV12 would be right under $200 shipped I think.

The Concept CPT12 is another option, I think Prorabbit is still selling some used ones here. I bought one from him, and I think it sounds great, although unfortunately I really can't give it a good review because I don't have experience with any of the "super subs" listed talked about on these boards.

in terms of similar performance the ED O and the JL audio W6v2 come to mind.

Yes the O is only for sealed boxes. and no it wont work good in ur box and yes the w6 is a rip off. i was just giving subs out that are similar in performace to the SE. I would take the SE over both of them though.

The SE's are on backorder i called about a week and a half ago so they said they will call me when they have some so i hope it is soon.
