x2, the BTLs haven't really had much of a chance to get a similar reputation yet, at least not in my opinion. The MTs have been around for years, where as the BTLs have been out for a couple months.

Well I was making a point.... The guy said he had only heard problems about Fi. Meaning that RE had less, I think he said DD but we weren't comparing DDs in this mix, so I was just stating that there seem to be a lot of Qs, SSDs, BTLs, and other things out there which no one is having any issues with....

are you sure they are all BTL's?

one of them has a RE dustcap, so they could be MT's with Fi recones, or one could just have a RE dust cap

The one with the MT dustcap is an MT, the rest are BTL's.

i thought they used pretty much identical soft parts

might of been the person that reconed them, they didnt glue down the spider good, the glue might of broke on the coil to the cone joint whihc would be the makers fault though

im sure there are vid of MT's dying like that

Darn right MTs fail(on music with 12KW), we keep recones on hand! I have used both RE and FI recones on my MT, I didnt see any difference in the softparts or coil, except the FI BTL recone uses a thicker tinsel lead.

after they came out, it was hard as crap to sell my MT's, everyone thought MT's automatically went to the **** list, i did finally sell them though, i still dont know what i want to do yet, 2 18s looks sexy, 4 15s also looks sexy, just got to figure out what company i want to use and what i want to run

you are mearly guessing on what you see, you dont know justin's complictaions he was having with that install, so please dont comment on what you dont know

a btl is a mt , slightly approved upon, the mt was the sub of 2 or 3 yrs ago it was king and couldnt be touched, the btl is the next generation, both are kick *** subs, certain installs a btl and mt might be neck and neck and in some a btl is better suited i dont see why you guys are having a multipage pissing match
