and that was in a slot ported box...with more than ample port area. I think it was in the 50sq" range. tuned in the low 30s. around 33 or 34.
Gains are set right...I have access to an O-Scope, but Why is it needed. The sub does the same thing on every amp I put it on. Everybox I put it in, every car the box goes in. Same thing, same result.I dont think you're going to have to worry about the camera pickn that up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I couldnt even tell it was airforces untill it was over with and i heard his voice. Have you ever just free aired it and watched it?Gains are set right...I have access to an O-Scope, but Why is it needed. The sub does the same thing on every amp I put it on. Witha dmm, with 0db tones. and the gain is relativly low on the amp, at probably 10 Oclock. And thats on volume 21 gains set at 28. I have never had that sub smell...at all.
scott designed the woofer, we are talking very tiny differencesa btl is a mt .
if a btl is a mt,then why is mt's made by re audio, and btl's made by fi car audio, and yes i have experiance with both, the mt is a superior sub imo,all i can say about the btl is they bottom out easy and the coil will hit the backplate to easy.the only reason people really choose the btl over the mt is because of the price imo.
and improperly mounted sub in a bandpass enclosure with the problems he had any sub would fail,Im sorry, didnt mean to come off like I was dissin Justin or commmenting on his complications. If you look back at the post you will see that I was only linking the vid to show that a BTL will fail. I think we should be able to agree on that.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
The Envoy is definitely betterI LOL @ this thread.
Maybe I should start a thread titled "which is better, a GMC envoy or a Chevy Trailblazer"
Im not going to argue that the BTL is not better for daily/bassrace scenarios. The MT was not designed with daily in mind, the BTL was(or it least I hope it was considering it is marketed as such). Im arguing that the MT is better suited for higher power, higher tuned SPL scenarios. What are your thoughts on that, or do you believe the BTL is superior to the MT in every way?scott designed the woofer, we are talking very tiny differencesstock camaro vs a camaro with intake and exhaust still the same thing just slightly modified, if in your cases the mt was a better choice then thats great in other cases most from what i hear their is a gain, i know meade couldnt have been happier with his btls
