For straight SPL, the MT has proven itself above and beyond what the BTL has so far, especially at those power levels.

MT's have to be the most indestructible sub ever made. My teammates 15" literally had the motor FALLING OFF on it because he did not tighten the screws properly when he reconed it, and even with the motor falling off the thing never died once. We inverted it to see what was happening, and with only 2 screws holding the motor on, the motor was actually MOVING AROUND on the basket and it STILL didn't die.

If that isn't indestructibility, I don't know what is.

You're correct, I could not install my wall by myself... just like most of the people with walls couldn't do. I tried, I failed, and I wanted it done right.
On AIM you seem cool, then you go and make douchebag comments with my name in them. Say what you want to, a few people have confirmed what I found out.

I'm just saying what i was told no different on here than on aim. And its hard to tell how it was wired to begin with after all you posted what 2 threads on here about wiring issues and i spent 15 minuts trying to explain how to correctly wire it.

so quit calling me names like the high schooler that you are and grow up man //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Don't worry nick, i know exactly where you are coming from.

Hopefully you see my side of the story about which sub has PROVEN itself before.

kust my opinion BTL's look to be more towards daily than MT's, cooling and what not, if it was me and i wanted hihg power daily i think BTL would be above MT on my list, i never had one problem with my MT15s on daily stuff

but in all out SPL MT's might take the minute edge, main part going to install

the same person did design them...

Great post. Its not so much somtimes that one sub is any better than the other, sometimes it can come down to just reputation and track record .//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

every thing i've read about FI people always have problems.look at what happened to kenny

the btl was wired wrong when it was made.

that never happens with DD
Yeah DD may not fk up coils.. they will just send you 12"s instead of the 15"s you ordered and expect you to be happy that you got subwoofers period. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif

Im just voicing my opinion about what I have dealt with. I hope that your post Nick wasnt directed towards me. I like my BTL, it just won't work. I dont know what the problem is, but the fact remains that every sub I have dropped in have acted fine. Believe me I have put some money into to this and I want things to work more than anyone, and still the fact remains with my BTL, I have found subs that work in My install...but we have yet to find an install that My BTL works in. Several boxes/Amps/cars/electrical system. Same problem, same volume.
