Questions with new PG RSD's

Im thinking about getting a pair of 6.5 pg rsd components to upgrade. I need to get an amp for them, what would be a good recommendation for a 2 channel amp that can do 60 rms at 4ohm. Unless you recommend higher for the pg's (im just goin by the stated rms). Also I already have 1 amp in the vehicle for my sub, stupid question but can the power be wired in series from one to the other or will i have to run another line from my battery. Edit - i think i just found the answer to that, with a distribution block, what size should i get for this amp and a 400w rms to run.

Does this amp look decent?

Just from reading reviews on the site it seems ok, but ill ask the experts first. Seems like a bit much though, i would have to crank it down a good amount.

This looks a little better for my needs.

Ive also heard a little about cadence amps from these forums, what about this.

Yeah i have yet to buy the rsd's, just trying to get a total cost estimate.

Wow i just found a coupon code for 25% off the cadence 1502 also!. 75 bucks for that amp seems good to me.

Take a look at the big RSD review thread, there's plenty of people that are pushing 150rms per side to them fine, they'll handle it like a champ with music.

Check out the profile brand amps, they're nice for the price

use at least 100 watts RMS, preferably around 120wrms or so.....i have 80wrms on mine, and i wish i had more
a profile AP1000 should do the trick
nah.... 150+ watts rms per side FTW!!!!!! they love it and the mid-bass really comes alive especially at high volumes.

Ok i dont remember the gauge that i used for my cheap 1k watt amp i have now. But what size gauge should i run to the block? And also will i have any other things that i need when running two 1k amps in a car. When i say 1k i mean thats the quoted max peak.

idk what amps you have but i have a ZX750.1 and a ZX550.2 on a single run of 4 gauge. and it's perfectly fine for me. one 4 gauge into each block and one out of each block headed to each amp.

Ok so i would just run 4 gauge to the block, then two connections out of the block, 1 to each amp positive. The amps will be under each seat so would it be fine to not use a block for the ground and just run each ground to a nearby frame bolt? Also im still new to this and dont want to hurt my cars electrical system, but you dont think i would have to get a cap or make modifications to the alternator with 1 amp doing 400rms, 1 amp doing 300rms do you? Im just a bit paranoid mainly because i want to do this fairly cheap and dont want to have to drop extra money into those modifications just for component speakers.
