Hello, im fairly new here and inexperienced with sub's, however i currently have 2 Alpine Type R 10" 300 RMS 1k Max, DVC 4 ohm connected to a Boss Rev 550x2. ive noticed that when one sub is unplugged its actually louder then when both are hooked so ive concluded theres not enough watts from my amp.phasing is correct. So right now im torn between buying a mono 1k watt amp and running the subs parallel/parallel on a 1 ohm load. or buying a planet audio AC1200.2 and running the 640x2 channel at 2 ohm. the planet audio can also run bridged 840x1 at 4 ohm. anyone have any suggestions??
