Questions about Horns

I was wondering if it wolud be ok to use horn tweeter as a speaker cuz i wont really miss the mid-bass but would these sound like garbage like that? Jus wondereing.

imo, thats not a good idea. they usually sound real "colorful" or harsh in most cases. you would be better off with a full-range type driver. are you wanting to add more hi-end?

They build horn midranges just for that. Heres a link to a driver and the actual horn that it attaches to. Would work great. These things scream... Just make sure you have another speaker to do the lower midrange. They really work well with big 8 and 10" pro audio midranges, since they have really crisp lower midrange.

every piezo I have heard sounds BAD (harsh), even the expensive horns prove difficult to install corrctly and tune in a car.
