Can you take a picture of how the wires are connected to your sub, we will be able to tell you if its wired for 1 ohm or 4 ohms.

He has 2 subs, so it would be 2 ohms or .5....

Heres how I have it wired.

I have two subs but only 1 running right now. Ive never used the other one yet because I was waiting to get another amplifier to run it. I wanted two amps to run the subs. Right now I have the 1 amp running one L7 at 2 ohms (600 watts rms).

how do you know its at 2ohms is it a dual 2 or dual 4 ohm sub?

Yeah thats how I have it wired right now. Its wired at 2ohms pushing only 600 watts rms out of the amp. When I was going to get another amp for the other sub I was planning on wiring it like this...

If it turns on normally the problem has to do with the subwoofer? If it still does the same thing could it be a blown amp?

when your ground isn't hooked up correctly the amp will give you a red light... I know because mine does too

Got it working today! Running stronger than before. Replaced the wiring and bought a new distribution block with a 200amp fuse.
