He has 2 subs, so it would be 2 ohms or .5....Can you take a picture of how the wires are connected to your sub, we will be able to tell you if its wired for 1 ohm or 4 ohms.
Heres how I have it wired. Can you take a picture of how the wires are connected to your sub, we will be able to tell you if its wired for 1 ohm or 4 ohms.
I have two subs but only 1 running right now. Ive never used the other one yet because I was waiting to get another amplifier to run it. I wanted two amps to run the subs. Right now I have the 1 amp running one L7 at 2 ohms (600 watts rms).He has 2 subs, so it would be 2 ohms or .5....
Ok thanks I'll go try that right now.unhook the sub and then turn your system on and see if it dosn't lite up red anymore.
Yeah thats how I have it wired right now. Its wired at 2ohms pushing only 600 watts rms out of the amp. When I was going to get another amp for the other sub I was planning on wiring it like this...You said it was DVC but you posted a picture of a SVC sub wiring.

I'll drill it back down tomorrow and see what happens.unhook the sub and then turn your system on and see if it dosn't lite up red anymore.

If it turns on normally the problem has to do with the subwoofer? If it still does the same thing could it be a blown amp?
