1.) wouldn't it benefit you to hoard everything now, i mean right now, since you believe there is no afterlife?

I guess I don't understand the question.

How is "hoarding everything right now" related to there is no afterlife?

2.) to hoard more, you probably have to do some sheisty things. but why wouldn't you do it, since ultimately, you'd have no one to answer to?

There are socially and morally objectable reasons to doing "sheisty things".

Yes.

if so, where do they come from/what are they based on?

They are likely a combination of both evolution and societal values. Many animals display acts of altruism, generally with no expectation of reciprocation. And there have been studies conducted to show that essentially all humans, even remote primitive communities, share the same basic moral/ethical values. Both of these indicate it's ingrained into humans on a deeper biological level, pointing towards it being a product of the evolutionary process. And then there is the study of memes and the like which also help explain them on a social basis.

See above. Social and ethical objections. I don't need god to feel compassion for another living thing, or to not act in a manor that I would not want myself to be treated in. And of course, social deterrents such as jail, etc.

Socially and morally acceptable versions of "good".

6.) instead of beleiving in God, do atheists believe strictly in brain power/human intelligence only?

Atheism is merely a lack of belief in a supernatural god. It's not a belief in any particular area.

7.) would an atheist ever practice yoga or meditation? looking at the background and the the intended purposes of both of these, why would you/they?

I could see how an atheist may find the activities calming and relaxing. It may also allow a time where someone would allow themselves to get lost in thought. I know that as an atheist I spend a considerable amount of time contemplating god (et al) and various other interesting concepts.

I wouldn't take it into the truly "spiritual" realm, however.

9.) do atheists try to discredit religions that are not one of the big 3?to me, i always hear about atheists hating christianity only (so it seems)  

I think that's just a product of the country you happen to live in. I hate these conversations because NO ONE ever wins.....but I'll put my 2 cents in whether It'd been said or not and try to get peoples brains functioning a different way.
I think the problem with people wanting to believe or not ALWAYS has to do where MAN came from. I say **** thinking about MAN. Darwinism is nothing more than a theory that has no credibility and has NEVER been proven.

So I say, forget thinking about mans beginnings and think about what we live in.

I want to know how that was formed. Every theory created is completely ridiculous. My favorite is the big bang theory. All of a sudden a bunch of molecules got together and exploded and all of a sudden POOF THE UNIVERSE!

So where did the molecules come from???? Undeniably EVERYTHING COMES FROM SOMETHING.

This is why I definately believe in a creator (God if you will). I think the world is too perfect with all the problems, it's just too perfect for me. And wouldn't it be ironic for a God or creator too prove that there real, they set it up so all you had to do is walk outside, look up and think hard?????

Faith vs evolution is very complex, people of with weak beliefs will get killed by people that are mentally more evolved and people with a strong faith will kill people with weak faith, so what is one to believe?

Intelligence is a byproduct for all the hominidae that evolved into modern humans because, regardless of where they migrated to on the planet, the rate of evolution for all of them was still the same. Physical attributes that differ, such as those I listed in my previous post, are the byproduct of adaptation.

The definition of Sapiens and Erectus may differ depending on what variation of human evolution one sticks to.

Multiple, Separate Species:

**** Erectus (1.8M-70,000 YA): a species of hominidae that spread to Asia, whose fossils do show slight differences such as dental and skeletal structure from **** Ergaster, which is the non-Asian form of **** Erectus.

**** Neanderthalus (250,000-30,000 YA): a species of hominidae that spread throughout Europe and is a descendant of Ergaster.

**** Sapiens: what all Homonidae humans have evolved to and are currently classified as, regardless of what the evolutionary lineage (Erectus or Ergaster) may have been.

Single Species:

**** Sapiens: a species of early human originating in Africa that spread across the world, and replaced/conquered the **** Erectus and Neanderthalus species 400,000-250,000 years ago.
