THE STEREOTYPE FIGHTER!!!
i was thinkin about some stuff last night. i was also gonna include some questions that i had found on the web (yahooed 'tough questions for atheists', but decided to just use my own) plus i woulda just PM'ed ppl who i feel are atheists on here, but that woulda took too long.

1.) wouldn't it benefit you to hoard everything now, i mean right now, since you believe there is no afterlife?

2.) to hoard more, you probably have to do some sheisty things. but why wouldn't you do it, since ultimately, you'd have no one to answer to?

3.) does an atheists have morals?? if so, where do they come from/what are they based on?

4.) if u are an atheist with morals, why? who or what does it benefit?

5.) if an atheists says 'i'ma good person', who are you/they comparing themselves to?

6.) instead of beleiving in God, do atheists believe strictly in brain power/human intelligence only?

7.) would an atheist ever practice yoga or meditation? looking at the background and the the intended purposes of both of these, why would you/they?

9.) do atheists try to discredit religions that are not one of the big 3?to me, i always hear about atheists hating christianity only (so it seems)

8.) this is my favorite one, but i never got an answer to it....... if humans descendend from apes, why do apes still exist, since humans are more advantageous?? ((u don't have to answer this, but i always wanted to know. its a silly question, but i like it.))

1. No. I can only consume so much. Just because nothing happens when I die doesn't mean the welfare of others isn't a concern of mine. I don't have the right to be wasteful.

2. I have to answer to myself and what I think is right or wrong. I owe it to society not to be shiesty. It is all about the highest and best use.

3. Yes. They are based on what is the benefit. I don't find anyone but contractors benefitting from building giant churches. But I do find great value in helping others. This comes from my understanding of economics and my own philosophy shaped by my experiences.

4. Agnostic. It benefits society as whole.

5. Good compared to other people. Why people compare themselves to God is an exercise in futility as if God exists, people couldn't possibly understand it enough to make any type of comparison.

6. What do you mean by believe in? I believe in the actions of men...I guess. I am not following the intent of this question.

7. I don't...but I do garden. I believe the mind needs time to relax and reflect. It is good for the body.

8. When things evolve, it doesn't mean the previous item is obsolete. We do not compete with apes over similar resources.

Im not an atheist. but ill anwser #8

One we didn't exactly have to evolve from the ape. but we could have evolved from something in that family. Which may no longer exist. And evolution could have made us for a certain reason for example a certain part of the world. but in other parts of the world these advances were not needed to sustain life. Soo an ape is still an ape. We spread out. but we had to start somewhere

I agree with this, and props for actually answering the last one. I've been wondering that one myself for awhile //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

1.) wouldn't it benefit you to hoard everything now, i mean right now, since you believe there is no afterlife?

Why hoard when you can get by on what you got?

2.) to hoard more, you probably have to do some sheisty things. but why wouldn't you do it, since ultimately, you'd have no one to answer to?

I wouldn't hoard, and I have to answer to myself, common decency doesn't come from just faith...

3.) does an atheists have morals?? if so, where do they come from/what are they based on?

My morals are based on everybody deserves respect, I treat others how I would want to be treated, and I look out for the greater good of those around me as I do for myself. You don't need religion or an ultimate consequence to be forced into being a good person...once again its common decency.

4.) if u are an atheist with morals, why? who or what does it benefit?

If your not an atheist and your an *******, why? Aren't you scared of hell?

5.) if an atheists says 'i'ma good person', who are you/they comparing themselves to?

Maybe an atheist can be confident enough in themselves and their actions without having to compare themselves to anybody else?

6.) instead of beleiving in God, do atheists believe strictly in brain power/human intelligence only? no idea what to believe in

7.) would an atheist ever practice yoga or meditation? looking at the background and the the intended purposes of both of these, why would you/they?

Never tried it, don't know

No idea, some animals evolve because they have to, to survive. Maybe depending on region and circumstance some didn't have to evolve to survive and remained behind on the scale?
bolded answers

Well consider when we force items to evolve, such as biogentic engineering. We make trees that make more fruit, resistant to blight, etc. It doesn't "kill" all the rest of the trees that were not forced to evolve does it?

say like your inna bad situation, u see no way out, none of your friends or their friends see a way out for you. at that point many religious ppl turn to prayer. do atheists and agnostics ppl say ' i will use my intelligence to bail me out '??

No, we just realize we are fukd and don't try to make stuff up to comfort ourselves. Sometimes your better off knowing your fukd so you can face the problem instead of trying to pray your way out.

There is a solution...I just haven't seen it yet. I don't believe I have ever encounter a situation that someone, somewhere hasn't encountered before. They have either solved the problem or know how they could have done different next time.

People are atheists because they are perverts and do not want there to be a God to judge them. They don't care about the answers to the rest of the questions, just as long as they get to touch little boys.
Aslong as I don't believe there is a god, he can't see me ********** //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

I wouldn't say it quite like that...but I do believe prayer is an easy way out. My friend believes God answers such prayers with the strength to get him through. I think writing it out and searching for practical solutions is a better way.
