Qlogic Sub Boxes

Anybody have any experience with the qlogic sub boxes? I am looking at the newer 12" sub boxes with a removeable plug covering the port.

they are decent for a sealed box depending on sub, but **** as a ported box

i was at the local shop today and they had some EFX enclosures that sounded real nice with 2 12" type r's in it. you can get the dual version for about $65 shipped online. i just picked up one at the shop $75 total.

qlogic sucks! Make your own. I used to HATE selling the dang things....

It is hard to mess up a sealed box...though im sure there made out of 1/2 inch particle board and not sealed properly. But definatly dont buy a ported box from q logic.

Build your own. I've had a total of six different QLogic boxes that people have given to me after their real boxes were built. They will get you by (sealed) until you can get a real box or until your box is completed, but nevertheless they still **** bad. Most of them are built with 1/2" particle board rather than 3/4 MDF. For the same money as having a good one built for you, you can buy the tools and material you need to build one.

They ****.. I have one right now.. the sealed to ported one. Im only using it until i can get my box built. I'll be glad to get rid of it though.. Cant stand the look of all the plastic either.
