Get an adapter that plugs into your Sorento Kia for that radio and car make. Vendors like Schoeshe or Metra Online sell those. They'll give you the correct make adapter. Then go to your nearest audio shop, get a correcting dash or mounting kit for your radio and car make. By year, model of car and make. That's the mounting kit to buy. As for the Antenna adapter, they sell those too. Get one for the car make and radio. Antenna Adapter. Universal or specific. You want to plug in that into the iso? With the radio wiring harness that comes with the radio, you'll match it with the adapter wiring harness, color to color. Solder or butt connector used. Use electrical tape around connectors if using this method. That whole completed wiring then plugs into your original car iso connection. Female ISO. 2 day shipping to your house. Fed ex

One last thing: Kia Sorento, depending on year, has 8 mm screws or bolts holding the radio in. Some cars only need to pry open a section of the dash board. Look it up on the youtube channel. The car make and year and place "and" in the description area, type in "how to remove a radio from a " "? The you tube gives you a video on how to do this. Wal-mart and Autozone sells the dashboard or mounting kit, some of them. Easy...!

Hello!

To install an aftermarket radio in your 2012 Kia Sorento SX and properly connect the speaker wires, follow these steps:

1. **Wiring Harness Adapter:**
You will likely need a wiring harness adapter specific to your vehicle. This adapter will allow you to connect the aftermarket radio to the stock harness without cutting any factory wires. Look for a harness designed for the 2012 Kia Sorento.

2. **Speaker Wiring:**
If the speaker wires from your aftermarket radio don’t match the wiring harness, you'll need to identify the correct wiring paths. Typically, the colors of the wires are standardized (e.g., white for left front speaker positive, gray for right front speaker positive, etc.), but always confirm with your specific radio's manual and wiring diagram.

3. **Soldering or Connector Splices:**
If the aftermarket wiring harness connectors do not match the vehicle's connector, you may need to either solder the connections or use butt connectors to attach the speaker wires. Ensure to match the polarity (positive to positive and negative to negative).

4. **Installation Kit:**
In addition to the wiring harness, you may need a dash installation kit to ensure that the radio fits securely in the dashboard.

5. **Remove the Factory Radio:**
Make sure you've safely disconnected the battery before starting any wiring. Remove the trim panel and the factory radio, and then attach the wiring harness adapter to the vehicle's harness.

6. **Connect the Aftermarket Radio:**
Connect the harness adapter to your new radio. If the speaker wires don't match up correctly, use the information from the radio’s installation manual to either find the correct speaker output locations on the aftermarket radio's wiring diagram or wire the appropriate connections.

7. **Testing:**
Before you put everything back together, reconnect the battery and test the radio to ensure all speakers are working correctly.

8. **Final Assembly:**
Once everything is functioning as it should, carefully reassemble the trim and secure everything back into place.

If you're unsure about any wiring or need more specific instructions, don’t hesitate to consult the manuals for both the aftermarket radio and your vehicle, or consider seeking professional installation assistance.
