Found a steal on one today locally...

They are spl subs, but how good are they?

850rms, 1700max power handling...$600 retail price too!!!

well PB isnt a "junk" company so ur def not gonna get the worst bang for ur buck...

but u didnt mention how much ur getting them for so its impossible to say whether its the best bang for ur buck

$30 and my old jl 12w3v2 for trade for his powerbass 3xl. He knows nothing of car stereo, but of coarse once he heard jl he was like oh yeah. He just paid 350 for the **** thing!!lol

I'd do it. Make sure its the real deal... then take it home, blow it up and have Ssackett put some hoodnasty softparts on it lol

where..cheapest i saw was 279 everybody else was 300+...

My friend has two of them, and they do flex the car and get ok loud, but they sound like total shit. If you want sound quality, get the powerbass 2xl.

I hope you like sloppy shitty sound. Id say it sounds almost as bad as a kicker l7.

Guy locally is selling new 12's for 125 or something...maybe 140.

Well, the sound quality is way better than my brothers l5 kicker, or the cvr 15 i had, but that box isnt tuned low enough for it, and it is a little small for it as well..may go with a 2.5cu.ft. Slot port box tuned @ 30 and see how it does. My rockford amp is also still waaaay too much for it. I cant put it past half gain still!!!
