I am in the process of designing a box for 4 re 8's. My dimensions for my trunk are 35 in width

10 in depth

10 in height

if my calculations are correct that should be just about 2 cu ft. I want to port the box but i am unsure how long and how big the opening is supposed to be for 35 hz.

Anyone know how to find this?

thanks

Is this accurate because i have tried on winisd and bcae1 too. Also do u know if 35in is big enough for 4 8's and a 3 in port. On paper it is exact but will that work?

I got 43.97 in for the minimum area

6.63 for the length of side for a squre vent

then i put that i wanted a slot port with 5in height and a 3in width and it said 11.8 inches.

While that program is pretty neat, it assumes you know the values. I was just recapping the numbers you provided. RS recommends the following...
