Got one door on my comp set installed, what do you guys think of install, crossover and tweeter placement? comments.....first time doin this. btw, all we had was a camera phone at the time so the pics **** ***.

i think that looks pretty sharp! nice and clean, minimal wire visibility. that is the next best thing to a stealth or fiberglass job. looks great.

how do the tweets sound in that position, looks pretty unorthodox.

Actually we just got the other door done. Took about half the time or less. Ran into few or little problems, had more problems getting the **** door on right haha. But anyways, i dont get my kicker amp till tomorrow so we really can't test it yet. Hopefully it wasn't a mistake to mount the tweeter before listening to it. But when you sit in the car both tweeters are pointing basically right into my head. So i don't think i will be dissapointed....

He means on axis with your ears. Basically pointing right at you. That might make the tweeters appear a bit to harsh, but I think you should be able to attenuate them with the xovers if that is an issue. Your install looks dang nice, btw!

Haha yes it was. I heard a lot of positive reviews from the momo's and I was so close to buying them, but then I looked into the Crystals and took a deal no one could have refused.
