I have an old set of Polk DB Speakers they still sound great. I heard some distortion comming from the passenger woofer the other day. I pulled the speaker to find the speaker itself has seperated on one side from the frame of the speaker. I dont want to scrap the set.

Can i just use some weather strip adhesive and stick it back firm?? Are these speakers due for retirment??

I guess when you say speaker separated, you mean the surround and cone separated from the basket? Use CA glue to attempt a fix. Definitely look into new speakers. Gluing the surround back down, may work though.
