Plexiglass or MDF Box Construction???

Building a box for 2 10"s sealed for about .5 to .8 cu/ft per chamber underneath the backseat of my silverado, I was always going to build the boxes out of MDF high density fiberboard, but then I remembered plexiglass, its not that hard to work with and it would look cooler, what would be the better choice??

What 10"er's and how many watts behind them? I'm guessing youll need at least 3/4" plexi but if they arnt that powerful you MAY be able to get away with 1/2, doubt it though.

2 10" alpine type r's... 300 RMS a piece.......
