This is my first time putting together a system so i thought i would post what i plan on getting to make sure i'm not going to buy something i'm going to regret. Currently everything in my 95 acura integra is stock except the HU which is a clarion DXZ835MP.
I plan on buying the CDT HD-62EF comp set from thezeb. The only thing that makes me weary about buying these is that they arent even on the CDT website! They have the HD-62CV & the HD-52CV but not the 62EF.
For an amp i was going to get the Soundstream RUB300/2(75x2 RMS) from milllionbuy. I was looking to spend ~$150 on the amp if anyone has other suggestions they are more than welcome. According to the CDT website the HD-62CV's are 100 watt RMS I would assume the EF's would be about, if not, the same.
The only thing that i have installed is the HU but i had a friend with experience installing HU's help me. Is it a wise idea to try to install the comp's myself with such little experience? I know if i dont try then i will never learn but i dont want to screw up my interior. Getting a head-ache free profesional install seems worth the money but if it isnt very hard to install tweet's(my main concern) then i could save myself some $. If i do choose to install it myself are there any wires or things of that nature that dont come with the comps/amp?
