*PICS* LEXUS: 4th order-RE SX, 20" staggered, fatty rear lip, 3.8% tint, lowered...

Rims in the second photoshoot of this thread are the best looking.
Those Maya's with the chrome center and black lip are very hate em or love em type of wheels. On a black car they would look much better.... I know because I sold them to a chick in a black 350Z, they looked sick.

BTW I think your murdered out ride is pretty sick looking.

(2) RE Audio 10" SX's in a 4th order bandpass ported through the rear deck of a Lexus GS300 with a 6" Aero Port powered by a Hifonic BXi-2010D on a Kinetik HC2400 in the rear and a red top Optima up front, 1/0 gauge Kicker power cable.
1.6cuft for sealed section

2.3cuft for ported section

I guess due to the nature of the 4th order design even with the tuning of the ported section being 45hz this setup hits the lows like crazy and peaks at 30hz.

The bass is super smooth and very very deep, it's the smoothest and best sounding bass I've heard!

No trunk rattle is awesome, 4th order's ported through the rear deck FTW!!!

I'll get some more vids up later, any requests...

really nice set up and rims. these rims make the car look WAY better. a lot better choice than either of the other two.

really creative udio set up with the box. i have a gs too, i dont get how you built the bottom part of the box flat, mine has like an elevated part in the back near where the stock sub is. im trying to get a box with aero port that fires into the car, would you mind helpin me out?

let me know, thanks.

real nice car

real nice car
I have the step up lip also in the trunk, I layered and screwed pieces of MDF under the part of the box that was sticking out past the lip. I then used small metal L-Clamps to secure the box to that wood so it doesn't slide around. The bottom piece of wood is screwed directly onto the metal where the spare tire is. Doing a design like this takes some time. What kind of amp/sub are you running?

i use megan racing coil overs on my 350z

they are very good

i run a volk gtm 19 x 9.5 front on 245-30-19 and 19 x 10.5 rear on 265-30-19

with hotchkis front and rear sway

you will like the megans
