The problem with that was it was the wrong ohm load but now i am free to suggestions since I sold that AMp... Any random suggestions see if you got an amp to go with it... And a matching 4 channel //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gifAA Avalanches can still be had... I think.
Well if I were looking strictly at SQ, Id be looking at subs like IDQ's, Koda 10's, maybe even Velodynes. But that would pretty much be ignoring output capabilities, as SQ guys tend to do anyway. The subs you are looking at are SQL subs, not SQ subs. IMO you need to better decide what you really need/want from the sub system before you chose a driver. Also if you are serious about SQ, you'll be deciding which size/type sub will best blend with your front stage, not necessarily just how large a driver will fit in your trunk. Most likely any of your choices there will be capable of drowning out your front stage anyway.400 dollars or less (on the market not retail)... Some that I have kept in mind are: RE XXX 15", Sound Splinter RL-P 15", Alpine Type X 12", IDMax 12"... I am looking for SQ mostly but I wouldn't mind it getting loud. These will be complimented with Morel's Dotech Components. Amps for the RE would be the RE 12.1... Other than that I have an Alpine MRD-M1005 I would use. This sub will be going into a 2002 Accord Coupe (size reference for box) and it doesn't matter ported or sealed.
I am trying to find a "balanced" sub.. The front stage will be taken care of so I'm not too worried about that. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifWell if I were looking strictly at SQ, Id be looking at subs like IDQ's, Koda 10's, maybe even Velodynes. There is no reason that SQL subs can't work in pure SQ installs. Infact, their ultra-low distortion characteristics make them even more suitable for pure SQ installs than the so-called "SQ woofers" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gifWell if I were looking strictly at SQ, Id be looking at subs like IDQ's, Koda 10's, maybe even Velodynes. So what are your suggestions for this subwoofer that I am looking for? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifThere is no reason that SQL subs can't work in pure SQ installs. Yeah that's why you see all those top ranked SQ guys running W7's and XXX's. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gifThere is no reason that SQL subs can't work in pure SQ installs.
