I am not sure which one I want to use but I think the alpine would be better but I dont know that is why I am using a vote to decide.

What amp are you going to use? Ported or sealed? I personally wouldn't use either of those...you could find much better 10s on here for cheap.

Sealed box not sure on the amp yet probably going to be a kicker or a hifonics amp.

I hated my type r sealed but I've never heard the polk before.

If I were in your situation I would get a dual 4 type r and a kicker zx1000.1 Or you could buy one of my JL 1000/1 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif But if you have the space available I would definitely port the type r.

You really can't go wrong with Polk, at least thats my opinion. Polk SQ is top notch.

I have to agree with ya on that but i have heard good things about alpines to

Id go with the polk...they usually have great sound quality...ive never personally been impressed by alpine myself, but maybe that's just me..their stuff is pretty good though.

Well, I'll tell you the Polk stuff would set you apart from everyone else to a degree just because not everyone runs around with it (mainly due to the price tag that comes along with Polk stuff). But thats not a good reason to choose something over the other. Either way, you won't go wrong. Go with your gut when all else fails. I took a chance when I decided to give Polk a shot, and it just happened to payoff for me, but it doesn't always.

Well it will be my final call but the final day for the poll will be the end of christmas day so that way I can know what I should go with.
