how do i know how my subwoofers are wired? (ohms)

im having a hard time finding out how my subwoofers are configured as far as ohms. i took them out from the box, and it doesnt say anything about ohms on it. i bought these subs from a guy. they are a pair of pioneers ts-5000spl. 2000rms and 5000 peak. its either 2ohms or 8 ohms, i the most i can tell u is that there are 4 thick wires. 2 red and 2 black.. :[

Best and easiest way for me would be to measure it with a meter.

Takes the guess work right out.

if you plan on doing installs get a dmm

but they are dual coil and if it says 2 or 8ohms then they ared dual 4
