I would most attribute this to not buying authorized in the first place though. Many internet companies will sale refurbished units, and more than likely, it wasnt refurbished from pg to begin with.. In all, do not trust these ebay companies. Goodluck with the crossovers, as Ive never heard of anything like this happening with them.

No hatred, just a refusal to believe that they're the end-all be-all they seem to be touted as here. I've priced enough crossover designs to know that good passive crossovers cost money, even with what PG's getting parts for they aren't free. At some price point, you're going to have to start making pretty severe compromises in the design in order to fit under that price.
It's an entry-level line. Nothing more, nothing less. What annoys me is when people assume they're getting Dynaudio quality for Boss prices.
Don't see how you can disagree with that.
