Petenyc's Final System Pics Link...

im bout to say "screw it" and save every penny i earn towards building a BADASS setup, such as this one. i will probably go with 6 tens sealed though. HIGHEND 10's though. glass enclosure, eD amps, as i have one already, or resale and buy from a local ARC dealer, flip out cd player, all that good shit. i want a bad *** install.

I shouldn't really be talking with 4 -12" IDMAX's, but you really dont need 6 subs! If you want a TRUE best of both worlds setup, then even 2 12"s is actually perfect! I just got the 4 IDMAX's cause I already had the 2 Zapco 1100's to power them along with the room and powerful electrical system. Think of how cool that would be to have a sick SPL car AND SQ at the same time! By you going with 6 subs, look at what you will have to do to compensate for it...

1- Need HO alternator... amust!

2- New Battery

3- Big 3

4- POSSIBLE cap... possible

5- larger wiring

6- tons of room.

7- money for amps and subs as well as above listed items.

8-DROWNING THE HELL OUT OF YOUR HIGHS!!!

DON'T want to do all that and think you'll STILL have your 6 subs... think again! I have experimented with all this MANY times, and if you want to do it right, that's the ONLY way, otherwise you're just NOT getting your full potential from your system, defeating the purpose. Car audio is very demanding on it's needs. and if you DONT fo it, the system will still work, but you ll never know how much you have lost in performance because youll just adapt to whatever it is accordingly!

I REALLY have to cut down my subs to get a nice balanced sound most of the times, defeating the purpose of even having them! I know that big bass is like a drug, but it's music we all want to hear, not earthquakes! Do you think if you went with 2 12" IDMAX' ot Eclipse Titaniums or even W7's, that wouldnt be enough! With all that money youll save on the above, you could by the REST of my system or whatever else you would like with that money and STILL have heart pounding bass! Just make sure you build a bad *** box and youll be set!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

Just trying to help make you realize you CAN have it all if you play your cards right! f you REALLY want the subs, youcan add everything AFTER the proper setup little by little while enjoying your FULL system the entire time of the slow upgrading!

GOOD LUCK!!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Bro. I COMPLETELY understand! Car audio is a friggin' drug man. Always stay within reason in what you do financially. If you can't afford it, just save and wait.

Also, A HUGE thing for me, always design your system to be upgraded in a step by step process. Let yourself be able to upgrade slowly by allowing the compatibility of the equipment allow you to do so. In other words, dont be ripping stuff out and redoing things every so often. Keep what you have and add, but when researching on what you need, make suure its equipment that allows you to upgrade later.

Good Luck!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
