Out with the old in with the new.

this is my 3rd car using this in, and i always clean the surfaces really good.........as far as i can tell can't see a difference between this, and the dynamat i used.
never used a heat gun either.
Im happy you are having a good experience with it. My Rattle Trap falls off my trunk lid all the time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

At least when its hot, my Dynamat sticks on no matter what.

huh....

how long have you had yours, maybe they changed the adhesive because i applied it on a cold day, and it was almost 90 the next, and it didn't and still dosn't say or anything.

Nice install, much much cleaner than mine. Lol. How does the bass even get into the car? Looks like the subs have no where to breath...
actually i had that problem with my old amp rack but there is room on top and the sides i moved it a little since i took the picture, but dont want to put the batteies where the spare tire is because i have had to get to it once over 200 miles away from home, and like to have that security (its a full size)

It usually falls off when it hits 108 to 115 outside... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I will deff be running all AudioTechnix next time. I have AT, Dynamat Extreme, and RattleTrap in my car. Lol.

I wanna get some but there are so many mixed reviews such as what just happened lol
i wonder if some people cleaned there surfaces, and rolled it on properly, but like i said before they could have changed the adhesive since the past.

i have 60mil audio tec around all my speakers, and in doors shits amazing, but still cant really tell the dif besides that it rolls on a little bit smoother.

I hear you, just think it would be a ton louder with more breathing room. Just because you can stuff 2 13.5" subs in your trunk, with zero room left, does not mean that is what is going to be louder. Now if you cut some large holes in your rear deck, or take the speakers out, that would probably, but thats just my 2 cents.

Its the asphalt in it that *****, and it leaves a terrible residue/smell.

I actually had more issues applying the AT, but it had the old wax paper on it. Regardless, it seems to stick better, doesnt smell, and is prettier. Lol.

no, your right i had my bats side by side, and the amps laying down for max air flow at one point and it was a little louder, but not as much as when i had the other rack it breathes pretty good now.
