First off heres, what im rolling with now......(THIS IS MY DAILY DRIVER SO, NOT GOING CRAZY WITH THE UPGRADES)

Speakers:

rockford fosgate t2 comps, up front 6.5

t1 tweeters + up front

fanatic tweeters + crossover in back

t1 comps in back 6.5

Sub woofers:

2 13w6v2 (Jl audio).

Head Unit/processor:

Alpine iva-d106:

with the alpine ktx, and htx processor, and software.

Amplifiers:

2 Rockford Fosgate p10001bds sub woofers

1 Rockford Fosgate p500-4 speakers

Batteries

Kinetik:

hc2400 trunk

hc2000 trunk --- I know there in the racing shells, but i called them, and they said it was

hc1800 under hood --- the same battery just a different shell (saved about 250 this way)

For those of you that appreciate the little things

wires:

Monster cable ( main )1/0 power/grounds

Rockford fosgate 4 gauges

Monster series 400 rcas

monster series 400 speaker wire

Jl audio 8 gauge woofer wire

fosgate fuse blocks/audiopipe fuses

fosgate terminals power/speaker

everything either soldered and crimped, heat shrunk or booted.

50 amp noise filter for stereo separate 8 gauge line runs to a barrier strip powers all my added accessory's.

Rockford Fosgate distribution blocks

Rockford PEQ3 bass knob controls both bass amps

peq for speaker amp

Boxes:

all speakers have foam/plastic boxes

Woofer box, don't remember exactly and couldn't find the plans but it was 33 hertz, single chamber i think just below 5 or 4 cubes. after displacement

Alternator:

160 amp 100 at idle. (weak i know my 250 died on me)

sound deadning:

150sq ft of rattle trap (roof, floor trunk etc.

50 sq ft 60mil at doors, and around speakers/tweeters

Whats to come, replacing the amps with 2 fosgate t15001bdcps and a t8004ad (with cap for white noise)

woofers ( undecided have to be 12s or 13s i have 13 w7s in my garage i haven't opened them yet still undecided.)

400 amp alt

and i already have them 2 sets of fosgate t3 comps keeping the t2 tweets, and fanatic tweets might put the t2 midbass in rear doors.

that's pretty much it for this car besides tint which is happening saturday and some type of strip.

overall this system has treated me well the sq is amazing, and the w6s have performed well i give them over 900rms daily for over a year, and still perform well

No woofer suggestions? ill have about 2k rms per woofer available, or should i just throw in the w7s, was planning on keeping the w6s, and just building another box so i could change them out for spl, and sql.

If you're going for SPL, I'd say a pair of FI BTLs or BLs with the cooling upgrades, off the top of my head, for 2k a speaker. IA Death Penalty, SSA Xcon...

Looking good! If you want to keep the same box. I would do 2 ssa icons on that power, should get plenty loud.

I think the N2 would be a perfect application or, again, the BL with cooling options.

I'd be a bit wary of sending 4k to a pair of Icons.. Xcons, sure, Icons.... dunno.

what about the t3 audio t2000s?

and im going to build a different box and tune it differently, maybe put some type of quick connect/disconnects on the woofer wires so i can go from sq to spl, in under 10 minutes.

I haven't heard much about it, but I've never heard anything bad about their subs for what that counts. Certainly looks beastly as hell, I'd imagine it a safe bet.

my gfs battery died so i had 1 laying around, and just got a hc800 from falcon, so i beefed up my gfs electrical today while i was in there, for anybody that is interested

heres what i got for pics anyways

the goods:

HU:

jvc something something something 901 great sq stereo had it in my car for 2 years 5v preouts and all that jazz.

Amplifiers:

Woofers - fosgate r5001 (reason i went with this amp is 1 good output 2 super high efficancy this way i don't need a new alt)

Speakers - Fosgate PBR300X4 (amazing little amp don't have pictures but its mounted on a mdf behind the stereo) had to cut out the factory brace for the factoy stereo.

Speakers - fosgate prime 6.5 comps up front. found out that the tweeter swivels inside of the housing that was a nice feature (front)

..................Fosgate 6.5 inch prime series coaxial in the back.

Woofers:

2 10 inch prime r1s (getting replaced soon) thinking sa10s or fosgate p2s (new ones)

Batterys:

AC delco wet cell peice

kinetik hc800 rear.

(2 farad cap)

Box:

fosgate sealed box came with the woofers has the sweet r logo on the front forgot to snatch a pic up.

Wires:

fosgate 4 power/ground (big 3 with this also)

kicker 8 gauge (speaker amp)

all fosgate fuse holders/fuzes and a jl one i think on the speaker amp.

best bat clamps i could find in napa.

stinger rcas older ones on the woofer amp, and level 2 on the speaker amp there only 1m long each also

stinger ring terminals speaker terminals etc

Sound deadning:

only about 10 sq feet total mostly around the speakers.
