If I understand what you are asking correctly, then yes, it is sometimes referred to an iso loaded enclosure. Just be sure to then wire the drivers out of phase as to essentially use the enclosure as a closed system to transfer each driver's displacement. Or you could have one sealed inside the enclosure behind the other driver, and wire in phase. Check out the12volt.com's page on enclosures there bud.

Sorry. I'd reply much more but hey, it's party time as it is getting colder out now and downtown is booming right now w00t. And I might have pre-gamed quite a bit. Lol giggity.

not talking about isobaric. I'm taking two separate boxes/chambers. subs facing oppositely from one another.

You could get some delay that would cause ill effects but that all depends on the environment the subs are in. And don't wire the subs out of phase if they're not mounted with each piston directly coupled to the other, because what you're describing is not an isobaric alignment.

It could work but the likelihood is so low that I wouldn't even try it, because the best result would be that it didn't cause a problem.

Additinally, no need to reference "max" anything as those specs are useless. Most of know how to look at specs for a given speaker, amp, HU, etc...
