Opinions..... why not ask right...

Subsonic filter on amp goes from 10-50Hz.... do I just guess whereabouts 33Hz would be or is there a way to know for a fact where the filter is set?

subsonic setting varies by application.

It needs to be set in accordance to the application.

It's a mechanical filter.

Turn the filter all the way up, play a tone about 10hz hz below the tuning of the port.

Make sure this tone is 0db.

Slowly turn the filter down until either you do not want it to move anymore or it's reached it's limit.

IF it reaches or exceed it's limit, immediately turn filter back up slightly until it's fixed.

Yeah but how on earth do you know where it's set when there are only two numbers to go by?

I tuned it by ear guess I'm just nervous since it's my first ported enclosure lol

Use audacity, generate a frequency tone and trust your ears. Its a rough guestimate but the frequency tone will help out.
