you guys make me laugh...why don't you get a real 8 with a 3" by 3" voice coil...and a big enough motor where you have to run the sub inverted or build the box around the sub...wait till you see mine.

The 1508's come in dual 4 or single 4. I just got a dual with the carbon fiber dust cap and it looks pretty sweet. I have it in the DD box 1 cube tuned to 40hz and it gets just as low as my ED 11k sub in a box tuned to 30hz. I have only had 250 watts on it and it gets moving about half of its potential but I am going to put a JL 500/1 which should match up well. I can already tell that it is loosening up and getting lower and sounding smoother. I have been breaking it in with a few minutes a day @23hz with about 200 watts and it gets moving pretty well but not bottoming out. It really is a great little sub and I cannot wait to get the full potential out of it.

I've owned and beat the hell out of the 1508's and ya they were good...but im always willing to try something new...the new wmd8 should out do the 1508 but i can't wait until i get my BIG 8

Just trying to show these people that the 1508 is not an end all sub. That there is 8's coming out that are going to be far superior

They actually have two versions I believe, the Elabor8 and the Excruci8. Both are great from the installs I have seen. But I think the Excruci8 is a little cashy

This is correct but the DD1508 is a very impressive 8" no less.
