Opinions needed on 8s

I have a 1987 MR2. I am gonna put two eights behind the seats and they will be run off a MTX 1501D (1500 watts). I was going to purchase two DD 1508's for $330, but now I can get two Kicker S8L7's for $280. Each eight will be in 1 cu ft ported to 38 - 40 hz. Are the DD's worth more money? I have 1 s8l7 in a center console in 1 cube. It bangs like no other. but dont hit too low cause its in a sealed box. It was built to fill in my poor mid bass

I'm glad you asked this because i am curious as well.

But I would think the 1508's will be the best bet.

the L7 8's get plenty loud in 1 cube ported. i've never heard the DD 1508's, but i'm pretty sure they perform well in a smaller box than 1 cube.

1508's in the right box with 600+ easily mistaken for something larger

Get the 1508's! I have a pair that I had in that same enclosure except tuned at 29Hz, It was loud and got low as sh1t.

Edit: Also I was only using half the power as you, this was in a Mustang hitting mid 40's

and ur point? U think the sub has everthing to do with output? like i said b4. it was in a different vehicle and enclosure.
