My fav band as of late has been Project 86. They have had some really good stuff. Their album "Truthless heroes" sucked musically, but was SO potent lyrically. I wish they could revisit it. Unfortunately, this was when they signed on with Atlantic Records, and they proceeded to kill their creativity.

very good for a christian band...they are like $10000000 per dozen. I like songs to burn your bridges by back when they were with T&N

My fav band as of late has been Project 86. They have had some really good stuff. Their album "Truthless heroes" sucked musically, but was SO potent lyrically. I wish they could revisit it. You wanna talk about different styles, look at The Piper at the Gates of Dawn or A Saucerful of Secrets. Personally, I hated Syd Barret's style of writing.

I love Pink Floyd. Waters and Gilmour each brought something to the band, and each time period is good.

Waters was way to into trying to bring broadway(so to speak) into the music. He's all about a visual live performance. He has a famous quote that was something like, "there are so many people who listen to Dark side of the Moon and then the Division Bell.' 'They just don't get it."

So I'm rocking some APC... interesting style, but I like it. I downloaded Mer De Noms. Not quite what I was expecting, but it is pleasing.

Glad to hear it. Like I said, I prefer Thirteenth Step, but there isn't a bad song on Mer de Noms either,
