wat? The 4.6 clearly has more potential. The 5.0 will put down more low end torque, but overall the 4.6 is a better motor.

just me personal opinion. there are a lot of people that would go either way with which is better.

the 5.0 is just something they never should have replaced.

if nothing more keep the 5.0 and add the 4.6 to what they offer.

as for the low end torque they can be insane. they arent anything to laugh at in the upper end either though.

as for the fox body they are great cars i prefer the older models though

Thats a better answer. They are both good motors that produce power differently.

who would want a versatile motor anyway? and this argument is for stock motors not aftermarket. now a dohc 32 4.6 is not a bad motor at all. im a huge mustang/ford fan and can tell you a lot about them but as far as motor 5.0 is my personal favorite. either way its win win because its a ford motor //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

If you are looking to upgrade in the future you cant beat the aftermarket of the 5.0, way cheaper than the 4.6.

but back on topic. they are easy to make go fast and fun do drive around town or on the strip but factory they do not handle very well. but its not that that bad
