Honestly we cannot tell anything by a video. Are you sure you dont have your highpass on the amplifier on? Or maybe the subsonic cranked wayyy up?

If neither of those im going to say its the box, i modeled it up in bassboxpro and type-rs in 1.5 each look like shit

what do you mean they look like shit? Would a type x be a better choice at 1.5 cubes?

They just dont model up well on the graph, and a type x will preform better i would imagine but they are not an SPL woofer, the sound good and get decently loud, they will probably shake your mirrors like you want but the type r has the potential to be much louder.

Are you sure that your box is sealed completely?

dude just build a ported box and see what happens. then will know if you had everything else right.
it will add 3 db, that;s what it will do. I've been reading around alot and the people are saying that type r's are the worst woofers to have sealed. Hmmm, sounds like it could be the type r's and nothing else.

I would have modeled them in WinISD and Bass Box Pro but I am too lazy to type the T/S parameters in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

It's definately your SSF, or LPF. (atleast from the vid)

Those are just playing farts

Turn the SSF all the way down, and the LPF to 100hz and retry.

can you show me some comparisons on the two in a sealed box (1.5 cubes)?

i've had my SSF all the way down the whole time, the low pass is right around 80.

that seems like what you want? if i can figure out how to take vids with my digital camera ill take a vid of my set up.

You will also get lower frequency extension around the port tuning frequency but it usually drops like a rock after that. Do you still have your old ported box?

All you guys saying ported add's 3db

show me an example of where a setup gains exactly 3db when ported.

It all depends on tuning, box size, cabin gain, everything.

You can't just say "3 db"
